We arrived home from a camping trip on Sunday, August 5, 2012. It was very hot for the Seattle area and our house was uncomfortably warm. My son and I decided to take a drive (the van has air-conditioning) and we stopped by our local library to pick up some books we had put on hold.
As we entered, the KCLS Book Cover Walking Tour brochure grabbed my attention. I remembered last year's tour and how we decided not to attempt visiting all the posters. But this year, I put it before the family and we decided to go for it!
From the KCLS Book Cover Walking Tour guide brochure:
"The KCLS Book Cover Walking Tour is a display of over 260 framed book covers for all ages, creating an outdoor gallery throughout 14 King County communities from July to the end of September 2012.
The inspiration for the Tour is to provide an opportunity for the public to interact and engage with books in a fun and unique way.
All of the book covers on the Tour are reprinted with permission of the publishers".
We'll be posting photos of the posters as we find them. Our goal is to take a photo of the mounted poster along with a 2nd photo of all or some of our family in front of it.
